Burton Custom Camber Snowboard 2025
The original all-mountain weapon, the Burton Custom carries what is probably the most iconic name when it comes to snowboard models. Dating back to the winter of 1996, this is the OG. A board that’s been around forever and has only gotten better as technology has improved. This is your everyday snowboarder’s snowboard. A classic shape and feel is constructed to cover a variety of terrain with confidence no matter your riding style. One of the main reasons this board is so popular is it works for a huge range of riders. This is a board I could recommend to someone who’s looking for their first board, and also one I might see a Burton pro rider boosting 25 feet out of an Olympic halfpipe on. It’s an incredibly well-constructed board with a balanced feel, freestyle capability, and tons of pop. A medium flex pattern that skews a little stiffer than right down the middle allows the board to maintain an awesome balance between something that’s not demanding, but can also hang. It’s not a hard-charging board, and there are plenty of boards that will provide better stability and hard-snow performance, but the Custom is all most boarders need. If you’re not straight lining and trying to lay the biggest trench every carve, the Custom is plenty strong. The tradeoff is the Custom provides a lightweight feel that makes it an easy ride, and an absolute dream for anyone looking for a board they can have maximum control of.
Who is this board for? Just about every type of rider, especially those who would benefit from something that feels effortless to maneuver and initiate a turn on.
Who isn’t this board for? Aggressive riders and riders who demand the stiffest board.
